We were fortunate to have the Vermont Symphony Orchestra Brass Trio, "Fanfare," visit UID to perform for our students. The members of this trio not only performed but showed students how brass instruments like the trumpet, trombone and French horn work. Our students very much enjoyed the mini-concert and I expect that many of them will be interested in taking up an instrument when they enter fifth grade.
