All of the classes at UID are focusing on writing this year. We are using the Writer's Workshop model from the Teacher's College at Columbia University. Mrs. Cowan's kindergarten class shared their writing about leaves. The children used fall leaves as a collage and used what they know about leaves to tell a story.
