We are pleased to announce that the UID students who took the latest NECAP Writing Assessment this past fall performed very well! 77% of our students either met or exceeded the standard in writing as compared with 53% of students across Vermont. This NECAP Assessment is given to 5th grade students each fall to measure the writing skills learned in the previous year. Our teachers made it a goal to concentrate on writing instruction in an effort to improve student performance. Congratulations to UID teachers and students for making this happen!
