Have you been wondering what new technology had been purchased with the money raised by the last three Scholastic Book Fairs? Well, the new technology is now here at Underhill ID. There are six new HP Chromebooks in the UID library replacing five aging laptops in the library.
I want to thank the Underhill ID community for coming out to the Scholastic Book Fairs and helping to make this happen. They are really slick new machines that are easy to use and lightning fast. There is a buzz about them going around the building. The Chromebooks were used on their first full day in the building before school by the Logical Lizards computer programming club led by Mr. Wells. They were used throughout the day by students during library. They will be accessible to all students and staff for research, projects, email, and much more as we explore the full possibilities of our new technology. Again, thank you to everyone who came to purchase books at the UID Scholastic Book Fairs. We wouldn't have these new machines without you.
