We are happy to say that the UID kitchen is in full operation. For those of you who are new to our school, you might not have known that our lunches used to be prepared at an area school for us to pick up each day. Through the hard work of many people including our cook Pam Preston, our head custodian John Godek and CESU food service manager David Horner, we have been serving home cooked meals all week long. We hope your child tries out some of our lunch options. Two of the items offered in the next two weeks are recipes that have come out of our own kitchen: chicken or black bean & corn quesadillas on Sept. 3rd and whole wheat macaroni and cheese on Sept. 9th.
